Volunteer: Battleship Greeters: History Buffs Welcome!If you have an outgoing personality, we need your help on the front lines to give a warm Aloha to visitors coming to learn about the history of Mighty Mo! You will be stationed outdoors at the entrance area, standing or walking around to interact with visitorsYou will answer basic questions about the Battleship and giving directionsYou'll be telling them about Chuck the Iguana-- the Battleship's mascot. You'll let families with kids 4-12 years old know about the scavenger hunt!If you enjoy speaking with people and have the ability to communicate clearly, please join our welcome crew!Prior experience with public speaking and/or education would be great but not requiredWe request a commitment of once a week at a set day of your choosingConfirmation of shifts will depend on result of screening interviews and onboardingFord Island base access is a plus but not required.
